Cable

Basic cable is provided free of charge, but residents are required to provide their own televisions.

Dentist

We have a dentist that comes to the facility every Monday. If you would like to be seen by the dentist, please see your Unit Coordinator to schedule an appointment.

Electronic Equipment

Any electronic equipment (i.e., televisions, radios, lamps) needs to be inspected by our Maintenance Department prior to being used in the facility. Please alert staff if you have brought something in that requires an inspection.

Gift Shop

There is a gift shop on the first floor. If you would like to purchase anything from the gift shop during M-F, 8 A.M. – 4 P.M. the Receptionist has the key. Any other time the Nursing Supervisor has the key.

Guest Trays

If you would like to have a meal with your loved one, you may order a guest tray for a fee of $4.00. Please place your order and pay for it with the Receptionist. We request this be done by 10 A.M. for lunch and 3 P.M. for supper.

Hairdresser

We have a hairdresser and beauty shop on site. Please see the receptionist to set up a personal account if you plan to use the facility hairdresser. The hairdresser is available on Monday afternoon, and Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. To schedule an appointment, please see the Receptionist.

Laundry

As part of our service, our staff will do personal laundry for each resident. However, with 120 residents in the building, it is very important that each item of clothing is marked with the resident’s name. Our laundry staff will be happy to mark all clothing.

Personal Funds Account

Residents can set up a personal funds account at any amount. Please see the Receptionist to set up an account.

Phone Service

Residents can choose to have phone service installed in their rooms. The receptionist can assist with this process, and can provide you with the current rates for installation, monthly service, etc. Residents are required to provide their own phones.

Therapy

Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy are provided by Select Rehabilitation Monday thru Friday, 8 A.M. – 4 P.M. Residents that are here for short-term rehabilitation will be evaluated for therapy services. Any resident who has had a physical decline will be evaluated for therapy to see if they would be appropriate for a restorative program.
